Buenos Aires, Feb 18 (NA) – The Ministry of Human Capital, through ANSES, filed an extraordinary appeal with the Supreme Court on Wednesday against the ruling on the widow's pension of Cristina Kirchner. According to Argentine News Agency, with this resolution, the government requested to reverse the decision of the Federal Social Security Court's Chamber III, which ordered the reinstatement of the lifelong monthly allowance granted to the former president, and ordered the restoration of the non-contributory pension of Néstor Kirchner, which had been discontinued after his 6-year prison sentence in the Vialidad case. The statement indicates that “the challenged decision affects the principle of legality and alters the scope of express provisions of the legal system, which makes it necessary to review the ruling in the extraordinary instance.”
