Deputy Willing to Support Labor Reform with Veto on Controversial Articles

Deputy Eduardo Falcone of the MID bloc stated on Monday that he is willing to vote in favor of the labor reform project, even if it includes regressive elements such as a 50% reduction for individuals on extended leave due to illness or accident. He also suggested that President Javier Milei publicly commit to vetoing these 'unvoteable' articles before the session in the Lower House. 'Either we reject these articles and it goes to the Senate, or there is a strong and public commitment from the president from now until we vote that he will veto these articles because otherwise, it is unvoteable,' admitted the leader of the pro-government allied force in an interview with Radio Rivadavia. In response to the controversy generated on social media X by the dissemination of this particular proposal, Falcone had to clarify his statements on the same social network, as noted by the Argentine News Agency. 'What I said is that what Senator (Patricia) Bullrich said is not enough.'
