An Argentine court has ruled on a fraud case involving the estate of Diego Armando Maradona. The court has prohibited all defendants, including Maradona's lawyer Matías Morla and his sisters Rita and Claudia Maradona, from engaging in any business related to trademarks registered under Sattvica S.A. and associated with the legendary footballer's name, pseudonyms, and image. This measure applies worldwide. The defendants are also barred from conducting any acts, contracts, negotiations, promotions, publications, registration procedures, or collecting money related to these trademarks. A similar order was issued by the court about 10 days ago. Morla, Pomargo, and Garmendia are currently accused as co-authors of fraud and fraudulent administration. Maradona's heirs—Dalma, Gianinna, Jana, Diego Jr., and Diego Fernando—have issued a statement confirming the court's decision and warning the public about potential fraud.
