Buenos Aires, February 11 (NA) – Senator from Unión por la Patria and former governor of Chaco, Jorge Capitanich, referred this Thursday to the death of his ex-wife Sandra Mendoza, recalling that what united them was not only their daughters but also “the love for the homeland.” “We engendered two wonderful daughters and a very strong love for the Homeland,” expressed Capitanich during the Senate session on labor reform. Likewise, he thanked “especially” the words of his colleagues and the “enormous manifestation of affection, love, and respect” from all blocs. Upon learning of the news of Mendoza's death shortly after the session began, Capitanich left the chamber to return a short time later.
