The Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation has enabled interested parties to witness the draw. According to the resolution accessed by the Argentine News Agency, it was requested to notify interested parties that the event will take place on Thursday, February 12th at 11:30 in the General Secretariat of the Tribunal, at Comodoro Py 2002, ground floor, river wing. The other two judges who are part of the oral trial are Adriana Palliotti and José Michilini. The Federal Court of Cassation will draw lots this Thursday at 11:30 to select the judge who will join the Oral Court No. 5 for the upcoming trial in the Hotesur-Los Sauces cases, where Cristina Kirchner, her son Máximo, and businessmen are accused. The court must replace Judge Rodrigo Giménez Uriburu, who had been selected by lottery but recused himself for having been part of the court that conducted the Vialidad case, in which the former head of state was sentenced to six years in prison. The disposition was signed by the president of the Federal Court of Cassation, Diego Barroetaveña, and orders: 'The corresponding draw be carried out by the General Secretariat, in order to designate the magistrate who must intervene in the aforementioned cases, in accordance with what is provided for by Law 27439 and the Ac.Palliotti rejected in minority the closure of the case, a decision that was later reversed by Cassation and which led to the removal of her colleagues Daniel Obligado and Adrián Grumberg, who had voted to acquit the accused. Michilini was also drawn to be part of the trial. The file investigates a supposed money laundering and criminal association scheme. The prosecutorial hypothesis holds that the Kirchner family rented hotels and properties to businessmen Lázaro Báez, Cristóbal López, and Fabián De Sousa as consideration for the public works received during their governments.
