In Buenos Aires on Monday, the president of the La Libertad Avanza (LLA) bloc, Patricia Bullrich, held a meeting with dialogist lawmakers to reach an agreement on the fiscal chapter of the labor reform, as well as the dismissal system and the validity of ultra-activity agreements. Attending the meeting in the office of radical Senator Eduardo Vischilos were lawmakers from various factions: Luis Juez from the Frente Cívico; Carlos Arce from the Frente Renovador de Concordia; Julieta Corroza from La Neuquinidad; Carlos “Camau” Espínola from Provincias Unidas; Edith Terenci from Despierta Chubut; Beatriz Avila from Independencia; and Flavia Royón from Primero Los Salteños. Parliamentary sources indicated to the Noticias Argentinas agency that the intention is to close an agreement on the entire project this same Monday. The fiscal chapter is generating the most resistance from the ruling party, as the reduction of taxes is a central point to promote job creation, according to the Government. The ruling party wants to arrive at Wednesday's session with all the reforms agreed upon and not include any new ones in the chamber to order the debate and have guaranteed votes not only in general but for each of the articles. The reform that the Government wants to approve introduces profound changes in the laws that regulate the labor market, since it proposes the fall of ultra-activity, changes in the vacation system, of compensations and other modifications in the affiliation system.
