Buenos Aires, February 9 (NA) – Minister of Security Alejandra Monteoliva announced the arrest of seven inmates who had allegedly extorted soldier Rodrigo Gómez, 21, who committed suicide on December 16 at the Quinta de Olivos. Accompanied by Chief of Staff Manuel Adorni and Federal Judge Sandra Arroyo Salgado, Monteoliva stated that the suspects contacted the victim through a dating app with a fake profile named "Julieta Ayelén Cardozo." The magistrate, for her part, explained that the seven convicts operated the organization from Unit No. 36 in Magdalena, while also reviewing other similar cases.
