Journalist Martín Candalaft reported an assault incident that occurred in a public place and considered it a supposed "maneuver", while the woman who sought to attack him claimed that she was insulted by the communicator. According to the complaint accessed by the Argentine News Agency, Candalaft stated that "I was just walking down the street when a woman hits me while a man films the situation". In the short film shot by another passerby, it can be seen that the driver did not return the physical aggressions: "I would never hit a woman, so I only managed to dodge the blows". It also shows when two people pass by and film the situation. Additionally, he shared the complaint he filed on February 4, which is in the hands of prosecutor Norberto Brotto, under the title of "Simple Threat": "He states that on the current date and year at 2:15 p.m., at the moment he was on Bonpland and Gorriti streets, more specifically in the parking lot located at Bonpland 1500". "Upon leaving his private vehicle, he left the establishment and headed on foot. He was bumped by a person of female sex, brown skin, approximately 1.65 meters tall, dark hair, with a black sports jacket and sports pants, and shouted 'What are you hitting me for, the cunt of your mother, son of a bitch, I'm going to kill you, what are you saying, black piece of shit' and attacked with punches", the complaint continued. According to the complaint, neighbors approached the scene, the woman moved away, "and a short time later police personnel arrived". Candalaft also affirmed that he will press criminal charges and left a record of the existence of security cameras.
