BUENOS AIRES, Feb 3 (NA) -- Presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni announced today that authorities at Hospital Garrahan have requested the removal of parliamentary immunity for 10 union leaders to proceed with their dismissals. This follows last year's office occupation. According to the Argentine News Agency, the measure is in response to incidents recorded in October 2025, when union representatives led and illegally took over the direction of the pediatric facility. "He who makes them, pays for them," Adorni stated via his social media X account. The official explained that the reason for the conflict at the time was "the demand to be paid for days not worked." In addition to the judicial process to remove the union tutelage from the 10 ringleaders, the Government confirmed that 29 other people will face sanctions for their involvement in the events.
