Argentine Chief of Staff Shares Fake News About Musician

The Chief of Staff, Manuel Adorni, who recently consolidated his influence within the Executive after being appointed director of YPF, was once again at the center of digital controversy after sharing false information on his official profiles. The official, who in his early days as presidential spokesperson even hosted a TV show supposedly dedicated to debunking fake news against the libertarian administration, this time was the sender of an apocryphal content related to Indio Solari, according to Noticias Argentinas agency. On this occasion, Adorni shared a plaque with the aesthetic of the Crónica TV channel that attributed to the former leader of Los Redonditos de Ricota a damning phrase against the current administration: "Youth has always been rebellious, even more so in dictatorial governments like this one". The post was accompanied by his usual and terse interrogative mark "?". The image, with clear signs of editing, was quickly pointed out as fake by hundreds of users, as the musician had not made such statements in any media. Despite the incessant warnings and corrections from netizens, the Chief of Staff chose to keep the post active for hours.
