Buenos Aires, January 28 (NA) – President Javier Milei ordered on Wednesday to send to Congress a bill that establishes Argentina's accession to the Peace Council created by his counterpart from the United States, Donald Trump. To implement the entry into the body, the libertarian administration will seek ratification from the blocs in both chambers, as confirmed by an important source to the Argentine News Agency. The objective is to expand the agenda that will begin to be discussed from next Monday, February 2, until the 27th of the month. With more objectives than business days, in the Casa Rosada they assure that the idea is to advance even with the half sanction of the topics to conquer their full approval in March. In recent days, the official account of the Peace Council made public the welcome to the member countries, among which Argentina stands out. It also includes Cambodia, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Hungary, Egypt, El Salvador, and Indonesia. Of a total of 20 countries, few are democracies, and of the total, only the United States is a member of the United Nations Security Council. The organization founded by the Republican leader aspires to promote 'lasting peace' in regions devastated by the Middle East war. Argentina's inclusion in this select group ratifies the total alignment of Milei with the security and foreign policy agenda of the United States.
