Buenos Aires, January 19 (NA) – Prosecutor Ricardo Sáenz highlighted on Monday that the investigation into the death of Alberto Nisman “is taking shape” to find the intellectual authors of the crime, although he considered that “the material authors will never be found.” Sáenz praised the work of his colleague working on the case, Eduardo Taiano, whom he described as “a great professional and friend.” “The cross-referencing of calls from intelligence agents is yielding good results, some have testified in the case. It was ordered to call (former prosecutor of the case) Viviana Fein to be questioned. I believe there were irregularities in the investigation that resemble a cover-up,” he stated in an interview with Radio Rivadavia. And he added: “I think the material authors will never be found because the crime scene was contaminated and there will be no fingerprints left.” In any case, Sáenz said that the investigation has always been aimed at “who ordered this, who helped carry it out.” “We have a person with a firm conviction for necessary participation, who was the one who delivered the weapon (Diego Lagomarsino),” he added. The Case The prosecutor pointed out that “the investigation is complex, with thousands of cross-referenced phone calls,” but emphasized that “it is taking shape a bit.” He also commented on what became known in recent hours through journalistic publications, that “former Attorney General Alejandra Gils Carbó had said she had never had contact with the Executive Branch, and it was discovered that there were several calls with the Presidency and the Ministry of Justice”.
