Buenos Aires, January 19 (NA) – President Javier Milei signed the decree calling for extraordinary sessions prior to his trip to Switzerland, thereby officially summoning the period from February 2 to 27 of the same month. According to the Argentine News Agency, the president's main obsession is the Labor Reform, which will begin to be discussed on February 10 in the Senate. However, the agenda also contemplates other key points for the administration. Through Decree 24/2026, the Executive made public the need to approve the Law on adapting the minimum budget regime for the preservation of Glaciers and the Periglacial Environment, and the appointment of legislator Fernando Iglesias as ambassador. Likewise, as he anticipated in Asunción, the libertarian intends to give expedited treatment to the bill that approves the Free Trade Agreement between Mercosur and the European Union.
