Two men, one with a prior theft record, were detained for the alleged usurpation of a boarded-up property in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of La Boca. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the suspects attempted to occupy a home that had been evacuated due to the risk of collapse. In this context, officers from the 4C Neighborhood Police Station went to the location on Necochea Street 1200, where they found the perpetrators while they were breaking into the property and made the first arrest. The second individual was captured 200 meters away as he attempted to flee. They are a 33-year-old Argentine with a history of thefts and a 51-year-old Uruguayan. Cameras from the Urban Monitoring Center (CMU) captured the moment and alerted the City Police. The Penal, Contraventional and Misdemeanors Prosecutor's Office No. 34 ordered the arrests and the re-boarding of the entrance to the dwelling.
