This lawsuit was initiated by María Vilariño, his historical costume designer, who was first on the long list of legal claims against the host. According to what the Argentine News Agency learned through Marina Calabró, the case, filed in the National Court of First Instance in Labor Matters No. 4 under the docket “Vilariño María del Carmen vs. Tinelli, Marcelo Hugo and others / dismissal,” has come to an end after an out-of-court settlement approved by the Justice Department. According to reports, Tinelli and Vilariño agreed on a total sum of 90 million pesos, to be paid in three installments of 30 million each. At the estimated exchange rate, the agreement is around 60 thousand dollars, a figure that, while it generated debate in the industry, allowed the dispute to be definitively closed. In fact, the first installment of about 25 thousand dollars has already been paid, with the remaining ones pending to complete the total agreed upon. In the professional sphere, it is noted that, beyond the numbers, Vilariño likely prioritized closing the chapter and avoiding an even longer and more draining process.
Although this agreement is good news for the host, not all claims are heading in the same direction. Regarding other important debts, such as the one with Scaglione, it is said that there are informal talks, but no concrete willingness to pay at the moment.
