Salazar vs. Redrado Legal Dispute: New Hearing Hints at Possible Settlement

Buenos Aires, Dec 22 (NA) – The legal dispute between Luciana Salazar and Martin Redrado was back in the spotlight this Monday, with a new key hearing that could pave the way for a final resolution to the conflict. According to Argentine News Agency, unlike previous encounters, the economist appeared in person and hinted at a change of stance, fueling expectations of a settlement. The core of the discussion revolves around an agreement signed before a notary, which, according to Salazar, establishes financial commitments assumed by Redrado, including compensation for overdue payments and a monthly allowance for Matilda until she comes of age. The model requested that this document be ratified by the Justice, while the economist's defense had opposed it in previous stages, arguing that the context in which it was signed needed to be analyzed. In this second hearing, after a first failed attempt in November, Redrado surprised everyone by appearing in a good mood and with a more conciliatory speech. "It's good to reach solutions," he replied to the press upon entering, and promised to provide definitions at the end of the meeting that began at 10 a.m. According to reports, the amount in dispute remains a mystery, and although it was never officially confirmed, figures ranging from one and a half to three and a half million dollars have been mentioned on different occasions. However, sources close to the case do not rule out that if negotiations advance, a smaller sum could be agreed upon as part of an understanding that would allow the conflict to be closed. From Salazar's circle, it was indicated that she arrives at this instance with more moderate expectations, while Redrado's change of attitude opens up a concrete possibility of an arrangement, although not necessarily on the original terms. In previous statements, Redrado had maintained that he does not consider himself Matilda's father and that his financial help was linked to his relationship with Salazar, a version that she rejects and that contradicts, as it became known in 'Desayuno Americano'.
