The new Minister of Security of Argentina, Alejandra Monteoliva, has appointed the new top leadership of the Federal Police. Two changes were made, and the presence of a woman in the high command was confirmed. The minister confirmed Commissioner General Luis Rollé as head of the Federal Police (PFA) and appointed Commissioner General Mariano Giuffra as his deputy. According to the Argentine News Agency, the appointments were officially made through Internal Order (ODI) number 235. Monteoliva, who has been in office for just over two weeks, highlighted the work of her predecessor Patricia Bullrich and guaranteed its continuity, stating: 'The Bullrich Doctrine is more relevant than ever.' The following personnel changes were made: Commissioner Major Juan José Mingorance replaced Commissioner General Rubén Haidar in the Superintendency of Administration, and Commissioner Major Gustavo Alberto Núñez replaced Commissioner Major Mauricio Adrián Barrera in the Superintendency of Federal Firefighters and Risk Protection. Additionally, some departments were renamed: 'Dangerous Drugs' is now 'Investigations against Narcotrafficking,' and the 'Superintendency of Information and Communication Technologies' has been shortened to 'Communications.' The new heads have already taken up their posts this weekend.
