Buenos Aires, December 19 (NA) – Evelyn Von Brocke was expelled from APTRA, along with Pilar Smith, by decision of her colleagues, for exposing some journalists by revealing how much they earn and for "discrediting" the institution with her statements. As confirmed by the Noticias Argentinas news agency, APTRA held an assembly where the decision was made to expel the two journalists, who will initiate legal action to be reinstated. Meanwhile, Evelyn made a statement on social media to express her position: "I was unjustly and unjustifiably expelled, for defending the interests of my colleagues, for being empathetic towards the weakest, and for fighting for a social security system for all. They humiliated me as a professional and as a woman. I was slandered and cast aside, without being allowed to present my defense. The most regrettable thing is that with this decision they intend to silence me." At the same time, this situation has strengthened me, assured Von Brocke. "I leave it to my lawyers to face the facts, reserving the right to take the actions that correspond to me by law," Evelyn Von Brocke concluded in her statement.
