Buenos Aires, December 18 (NA) – Daniel Agustín Cabrera, better known as “Tractorcito”, the criminal detained in the Buenos Aires locality of Virrey del Pino, was a member of the criminal band led by Luis Alberto “El Gordo” Valor. Among his criminal records are several escapes. The 64-year-old man staged an escape from the Villa Devoto prison (1998) and from the Central Police Department (2000), where he walked away while in the company of two defendants accused of the murder of former Vice President of Paraguay Luis María Argaña. Cabrera has an extensive criminal record dating back to 1980, has served sentences, has committed aggravated recidivism, and has been involved in violent acts against private property and individuals, as learned by Agencia Noticias Argentinas. The gang was dedicated to robbing armored trucks and cash transports, and “Tractorcito” was implicated in a bank robbery in the city of Bahía Blanca. Additionally, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison and was characterized as the right-hand man of “El Gordo” Valor.
