Official sources informed the Argentine News Agency (NA) that the celebration took place in Costanera Sur, where Cabinet Chief Gabriel Sánchez Zinny, other government officials, Security Minister Horacio Giménez, the head of the department, Maximiliano Piñeiro, and the Chief of the City Police, Diego Casaló, participated. "The City is once again for everyone and is no longer the territory of the arrogant," Jorge Macri emphasized during his speech before authorities from the Judicial Power, the Argentine Navy, the National Gendarmerie, the Naval Prefecture, the Federal Police, the Airport Security Police, the Federal Penitentiary Service, the Buenos Aires Provincial Police, and the City Firefighters. At the same time, the official stated that "in the City, private property is respected. More than 530 owners have already recovered what was theirs, and the neighborhoods have regained their tranquility." During the ceremony, distinctions were awarded to police officers who distinguished themselves in acts of service, and homage was paid to the police officers who fell in the line of duty. The parade, which is a recognition of the work of the City Police for its commitment to security in the city's neighborhoods, unfolded along Avenida Calabria on the stretch between Julieta Lanteri and Rosario Vera Peñaloza streets, while more than 300 officers and 125 vehicles participated, and it closed with a helicopter flyover.
