Buenos Aires, Dec 17 (NA) -- Deputy of Union for the Homeland (UxP) Victoria Tolosa Paz stated this Wednesday that Peronism will not vote for this budget because it "does not validate the brutal adjustment," "the foreignization of the economy," nor the repeal of the laws for Disabled and Universities, which were approved by "an overwhelming majority" by Congress. When presenting the minority report, the former Minister of Social Development also questioned the approval of voting by chapter and by article so that "those who vote against people with disabilities and universities do not show their faces." "These laws were approved by a large majority at the time." "If you want to adjust the most vulnerable and education, at least have the decency to do it face to face," she added. She added that this budget does not take into account the resources for "disability or for public education, nor for the health system, much less for the country to grow and develop over time." In her speech, she also questioned the elimination of the educational funding laws that contemplated allocating 6% of GDP, and the failure to meet the investment target of 1% in science and technology, which are values of Argentina. Victoria Tolosa Paz and Deputy Julia Strada spoke to defend the minority report on behalf of Union for the Homeland. The general debate on the Budget project will extend until at least 10 PM, after which it will move to the particular discussion where some articles will again be proposed to be voted on individually, as learned from the Argentine News Agency.
