Buenos Aires, Dec 17 (NA) – Amid the detention of Nicolás Payarola, Ana Rosenfeld decided to break her silence and step-by-step recount how the extensive and complex legal battle between Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi unfolded, as well as explain how the now-detained lawyer became involved in the case.
According to what Argentine News Agency learned, in 'Intrusos', Rosenfeld emphasized the long-standing professional bond that united her with the businesswoman: "I worked with Wanda for 17 years," she stated before clarifying that the conflict with the footballer did not begin on the day he left the marital home at Chateau Libertador.
According to her account, the real break occurred three years prior, when the emergence of China Suárez in the couple's life marked a turning point: "That's when it all started, from then on, I dedicated days, weeks, and years to trying to reconcile," she explained.
Rosenfeld also referred to the economic aspect of the relationship, detailing that Icardi received his share of the patrimony and that, despite remaining married, there was a possibility of moving forward with a separation of assets.
"The day came when Wanda asked Mauro to leave the home. She was going through a crisis moment, with all the legal fronts on top of her," she added.
Ultimately, the professional relationship broke down completely. The fights with Payarola were strong, we didn't agree on anything," she stated.
After his resignation, she said, the lawyer had to incorporate two new professionals to continue the legal representation of the businesswoman.
Rosenfeld recalled that Payarola used an expression that personally affected her: "He said he 'cleaned' me. Over time, I understood that's his way of operating." Nevertheless, she clarified that she never needed to give public explanations about her relationship with Wanda: "Our friendship did not depend on that," she emphasized.
When asked about her definitive exit from the case, she was firm: "The logic was to step aside."
