Buenos Aires, December 16 (NA) – Prosecutor Pablo Jávega concluded the investigation into the murder of Nora Dalmasso, which occurred in November 2006, and requested the case be elevated to oral trial against the accused Roberto Bárzola. Amid an atmosphere of uncertainty, the Fiscal Unit communicated that, having allowed the accused to make a statement in the process, to receive all evidence that was ordered and requested by the parties, “it is understood that the said investigation has concluded and, consequently, the respective merits of the accusation were formulated”. The only person accused so far is Roberto Bárzola, a floor layer who worked in the victim's house and whose DNA was found at the crime scene. In this context, according to information accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the prosecutor indicated that this legal document was notified to the accused's technical defense and served to the family constituted as a private complainant. Jávega spoke with the local press at a press conference and there he explained: “We believe that death resulted from abuse, the evidence shows that it is going down this path”.
