Journalist Accuses Streaming Service Carajo of Receiving Covert Government Funding

Buenos Aires, December 15 (NA) – Amidst the 'streaming wars', the first edition of the Martín Fierro Streaming Awards took place in collaboration with Olga and Telefe on Sunday, and as is customary, there were no shortages of controversies among the guests.

One of the most talked-about moments of the night was the brief, yet powerful, speech by journalist Pedro Rosemblat upon accepting his Martín Fierro for Best Political Program for his show 'Industria Nacional (Gelatina)'.

According to Agencia Noticias Argentinas, the journalist launched a spicy and ironic phrase aimed at the streaming service Carajo, which was also nominated in the same category. He pointed out their supposed covert state funding from the government of Javier Milei.

'It makes us very happy. We started Gelatina with very little, we've grown a lot, that generates a lot of pride in us. It gives me special pleasure to beat Carajo, which, of the channels financed with the reserved funds of SIDE, is my favorite,' said Rosemblat.

'Thanks,' he shot out.

Within minutes, his speech went viral on social media.

In this way, the journalist suggested that the streaming service Carajo receives covert state funding from the State Intelligence Secretariat (SIDE) in order to spread propaganda in favor of the current Argentine president.

'We share the shortlist with excellent programs,' thanked the creator of the streaming service, highlighting that his project is independent and self-managed.
