The Buenos Aires Minister of Security, Horacio Giménez, ratified the leadership of the City Police, with only one change among the superintendents and autonomous directors, and maintained three women in the top command. This was reported by the Argentine News Agency (NA) based on Institutional Order (ODI) number 231. In this sense, Police Inspector Fabiana Elizabeth Cuesta replaced Police Major Sonia Edith Vitale at the head of the Superintendence for Combating Violence against the Family and Gender. In this way, Cuesta joined the other two women already in the top command: Police Major Laura Raquel Cesanelli at the Superintendence of Prevention and Emergency Management, and Police General María Mercedes Rebaynera at the Autonomous Directorate of Coordination and Liaison with the Training Institute. At the end of each year, the City Police, like the Federal Police and other provincial forces, renews its leadership, ratifying or changing its superintendents, autonomous directors, and directors. On this occasion, there was only one change, as the other nine Superintendencies and the three Autonomous Directorates will have the same chiefs for almost all of 2025. The following is the leadership of the city force: CHIEF: DIEGO CASALÓ. DEPUTY CHIEF: CARLA MANGIAMELI. - Superintendence of Investigations: Police General Carlos Gabriel Rojas. - Superintendence of Scientific Police: Police General Esteban Henaín Gari. - Superintendence of Special Units: Police General Martín Cornaglia. - Superintendence of Prevention and Emergency Management: Police Major Laura Raquel Cesanelli. - Superintendence of Operations: Police Major Leonardo Ángel Gallego. - Superintendence of Community Security: Police Major Santiago Naudin. - Superintendence of Traffic and Transport: Police Major Néstor Ortubia. - Superintendence of Urban Order: Police Major Alberto Darío Sagastizábal. - Superintendence of Neighborhood Pacification: Police Major Rodrigo Horacio Conesa. - Superintendence for Combating Violence against the Family and Gender: Police Inspector Fabiana Elizabeth Cuesta. - Autonomous Directorate of Coordination and Liaison with the Training Institute: Police General María Mercedes Rebaynera. - Autonomous Directorate of Prisons: Police Major Germán Goris. - Autonomous Directorate of Internal Affairs: Police Major Ariel Kaplun.
