President Javier Milei will preside over the ceremony in which he will swear in the new head of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General of the Army Carlos Presti, and in the afternoon will travel to the province of Córdoba to lead a parade with neighbors of Nueva Córdoba.
According to the Argentine News Agency, the head of state will officially present the new official who will replace Luis Petri due to the latter's legislative commitments. The ceremony will take place in a brief format in the White Hall of the Casa Rosada at noon.
Following the ceremony, some members of the political team will meet at the Casa Rosada to discuss the legislative strategy.
The ceremony will be attended by the Chief of Cabinet, Manuel Adorni; the presidential advisor, Santiago Caputo; the Ministers of Economy, Luis Caputo, and the Interior, Diego Santilli; the head of the Chamber of Deputies, Martín Menem; and the new Senator, Patricia Bullrich. The participation of the General Secretary of the Presidency, Karina Milei, is also possible, and although there is no precise information on the president's attendance at this time, his participation is not ruled out.
In the afternoon, the libertarian will participate in the 'Tour of Gratitude' with a new stop in the province of Córdoba, where he will meet his voters again after the electoral victory on October 26. At 6:00 PM, he will lead a procession with activists through one of the most popular neighborhoods in the provincial capital.
