Buenos Aires, December 11 (NA) – Four labor unions held a day of action for Human Rights on the second anniversary of President Javier Milei's term. The event brought together union leaders, social figures, opposition officials, and artists. As reported by the Argentine News Agency, the activities began at 3:30 PM at the Pyramid in Plaza de Mayo, featuring the traditional Mothers' march along with a performance by the popular percussion group La Chilinga. This was followed by the first debate panel, 'Rights and Work,' dedicated to the 'challenges and resistances' to the labor reform pushed by the Government. Panelists included the general secretaries Hugo Godoy (CTA-A), Hugo Yasky (CTA-T), Alejandro Gramajo (UTEP), and Octavio Arguello (CGT). At 5:30 PM, the second panel, 'Rule of Law in a State of Emergency,' will address issues of institutional violence, political persecution, and proscription. Participants will include Fabián Grillo, father of photographer Pablo Grillo; Buenos Aires Minister of Justice Juan Martín Mena; and Micaela Minervini from Mapa de la Policía. The event will conclude around 6:30 PM with a speech by Estela de Carlotto, president of the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo; Taty Almeida, a member of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo (Founding Line); and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Adolfo Pérez Esquivel.
