Buenos Aires, December 11 (NA) – The labor reform promoted by the national government proposes the elimination of the Telework Law, which, for example, regulated remote work.
Title XXVI repeals Law 27.555 and its amendments that regulated remote work.
The project proposes that this type of work be carried out under the Labor Contract Law, which will emerge precisely from this reform, and through an agreement between the parties on the conditions.
Thus, specific regulations are eliminated regarding the right to disconnect, reversibility (returning to in-person work), and the provision of equipment and expense reimbursement, as analyzed by the Argentine News Agency.

This law came into being as a consequence of the pandemic, which forced a large number of companies to implement this modality to be able to continue their activities.
The initiative, which removes a series of benefits, contrasts with the statements of the Minister of Modernization, Federico Sturzenegger, who had assured that the reform "would not take away rights".
