National Senator Carolina Losada (UCR) stated that there is 'a very high possibility' that the labor reform project will be approved by Congress and explained that the initiative contains 'many points that are super favorable for workers and for SMEs'. In an interview with Radio Rivadavia, the Santa Fe legislator also criticized the sectors of the labor movement that oppose a project 'they still do not know' and stated: 'Perhaps what they fear is that in some reform their racket or some benefit will end up disappearing'. The radical senator, as reported by the Argentine News Agency, wondered: 'If we who have to deal with the project do not know it, how can they oppose it?'. And she assured that the project 'does not take away rights', but rather 'to generate more workers with rights'. 'Today we have 50% of workers who have absolutely no rights because they are in the black,' she asserted. She added: 'The point is that many more workers move to the white sector, that they have their paid vacations, the right to get sick, maternity leave and everything that a worker in the formal sector has'. She clarified that regarding the original text of the Executive Branch, 'there may be modifications', but she highlighted: 'What matters is that this improves people's lives and makes Argentina grow, so in general we are going to support it'.
