Milei Sends Books on Liberalism to Japan

Buenos Aires, December 7 (NA) — According to Argentine News Agency, President Javier Milei sent copies of two of his books to representatives of Japan's Restoration Party. While anticipating a "sharp drop" in inflation next month, following the post-election rise, the President reaffirmed the advance of liberalism in Argentina and wished that Japan would take the same path. "I handed copies of 'Milei and the Liberal Revolution' and 'The Milei Phenomenon' to Fumitake Fujita, co-leader of Japan's Restoration Party, a coalition government party of the Liberal Democratic Party. I hope Japan moves towards liberalism like Argentina! Long live freedom!" he stated on his social networks. The president's biography, titled 'Milei and the Liberal Revolution', was written by Nicolás Márquez and Marcelo Duclos and recounts the "political and social phenomenon" that Milei represents in Argentina. According to its authors, Milei's ideas align with classical liberalism, minarchism, and anarcho-capitalism, and defend principles such as "non-aggression, self-ownership, and free markets." It also analyzes how he captured public attention and grew into a significant movement through the creation of La Libertad Avanza. The book details Milei's critical stance towards the country's political and economic status quo and pushes for structural and fiscal reforms, such as those he intends to debate next year with the new composition of the National Congress. On the other hand, 'The Milei Phenomenon' analyzes the President's rise and focuses on the challenges faced by "the world's first anarcho-capitalist government." It also describes how, after bursting onto television in an abrupt and extravagant manner, he went from being considered a "neighborhood phenomenon" to becoming a head of state.
