Buenos Aires, December 4 (NA) – The bloc of national deputies for Unión por la Patria presented a resolution project today calling on the government to “refrain from continuing the privatization processes of state-owned companies.” According to their arguments, the decision to launch a parliamentary offensive is due to “the paralysis of the Bicameral Commission for the Reform of the State and Monitoring of Privatizations.” Among the companies the government of Javier Milei seeks to privatize are AySA, Enarsa, Nucleoeléctrica, Yacimientos Carboníferos Río Turbio, Corredores Viales, Belgrano Cargas, Intercargo, and SOFSE. The resolution project, obtained by the Argentine News Agency (NA), is led by Ana María Ianni and Florencia Carignano, and is supported by the bloc's authorities Germán Martínez, Paula Pennaca, and Cecilia Moreau.
Also signing the initiative are Pablo Todero, José Glinski, Pablo Yedlin, Sergio Palazzo, Itai Hagman, Ricardo Herrera, Luana Volnovich, Sabrina Selva, Diego Giuliano, and Andrea Freites.
