Lawyer of Accuser Seeks to Return Piccirillo to Prison

Buenos Aires, Dec 3 (NA) – Lawyers for Francisco Hauque, the man who accused Elias Piccirillo, have filed a motion to review the house arrest granted to the former husband of Jésica Cirio, and now the Court of Cassation is evaluating whether the accused returns to prison. Case sources confirmed to the Argentine News Agency (NA) that days ago the plaintiff representing Hauque, a Piccirillo acquaintance who accused him of planting a weapon and drugs during a dispute over a debt, filed a motion to prevent the accused from continuing under house arrest. Piccirillo's associates stated in a dialogue with NA that Hauque's lawyers "are desperate" and there is "no chance" that the house arrest will be revoked. Regarding how the accused is complying with the benefit, they indicated that "everything is proceeding normally" and that he "is calm." The benefit was granted in mid-November when the accused provided real estate worth 500 million pesos and the seizure was accepted. The ruling states that the accused must serve his house arrest in a property located on Serrano Street, in the Buenos Aires locality of Banfield. "The transfer of the aforementioned must be carried out, without exception, and even without the electronic surveillance device having been placed, which may be located later," the document highlighted.
