Buenos Aires, November 30 (NA) – Elected Senator Patricia Bullrich has formally submitted her resignation as Minister of National Security, through a letter. This decision, effective as of December 1, 2025, was communicated via a social media post where she shared the letter sent to President Javier Milei, as reported by the Argentine News Agency.

In her message, Bullrich "deeply thanked" the President "for the trust and support to sustain and execute the security and order doctrine that prevails in the country today." From Congress, she assured that she will continue to defend "the reforms the country needs" and the values of "strong institutions, law, order, and a country where Argentines of good can live and progress in freedom."

Bullrich also offered words of support to her successor, Alejandra Monteoliva, wishing her "the greatest success" and describing her as someone "capable of continuing with the doctrine that has achieved order in the country today."

She recalled that her mandate was clear: "to care for Argentines, to care for those who care for us, to face crime decisively, and to recover order on the streets."

Bullrich on the move to the Senate and succession

The former minister confirmed that on December 10 she will assume her seat as a national senator. She highlighted Monteoliva's "capacity, experience, and commitment" to deepen the security policy implemented during her tenure.
