Two men, aged 19 and 20, were arrested after a chase from Mataderos to Villa Urquiza. Both were fleeing in a stolen car and had a criminal record for possession of a war weapon, among other crimes.

According to the police report accessed by the Argentine News Agency, officers from the City Police's 9th Precise were patrolling the Mataderos neighborhood when they spotted a suspicious Peugeot 208 at the intersection of Alberdi Avenue and Miralla Street. However, when they attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver fled at high speed towards General Paz Avenue, where both suspects were eventually arrested on Aizpurúa Street in Villa Urquiza.

The officers identified that the two detainees had prior records for theft, simple possession of a war weapon without authorization, personal use of narcotics, and investigation of an illicit act. Likewise, the authorities found several incriminating items inside the vehicle that were seized, such as license plates, electronic keys, cell phones, gloves, tools, a crowbar, and cash.

It was also confirmed that the car they were traveling in had been seized for a robbery case dated November 1 of this year in the city of Quilmes.

The National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 4, presided over by Dr. Bresciani and with the Secretariat No. 113 of Dr. Yadarola, ordered the detention of the individuals and their transfer to the corresponding police station, accused of "cover-up".
