According to the Argentine News Agency, in her defense, the young woman stated that her actions were motivated by financial need: 'I am a mother, I have a daughter, and I also take care of my family. It was a way to find another job.' Nicole explained in a television interview that the incident occurred while she was on medical leave, which she says reduces her salary to about 600,000 pesos, an insufficient amount for her expenses. Her leave is also for prolonged psychological and psychiatric treatment due to a gender-based violence episode she suffered in June at the hands of her ex-partner, which left her with medical sequelae, including epileptic seizures. 'I started selling content in October when I went on leave.' 'I did it out of necessity, the salary wasn't enough,' insisted the officer. Following the suspension, Nicole was notified of an administrative summary for the improper use of the police uniform. 'I am willing to do whatever they tell me,' she stated, although she admitted to Telefe News that she considers the possibility of being dismissed from the force. The officer has already made a decision: 'Today I have no intention of continuing to be a police officer because the salary is not commensurate with the risks an officer runs during their work, nor with the benefits they receive.' Meanwhile, the scandal has escalated to Federal Justice, where a lawyer requested an investigation into the episode as a case of human trafficking for sexual exploitation, as the police would be the central figure in a network of accounts that monetize content along with other women. Nicole defended herself against these accusations, assuring that she works 'privately' and that there is 'no pimp, no trafficking network behind her.'
