Buenos Aires, November 24 (NA) – Luisa Albinoni once again became the star of the show as she opened up and reconstructed her story with Jorge Porcel, her 'unshared without knowing' bond with Carmen Barbieri, and a political chapter that kept her off screens for an entire presidency.

"I love working with you, but I have to tell people something they might not know. Without asking for anything in return." During the discussion, Pamela David surprised with a fact that had been circulating for years: "I saw you at Mangrullo, not once, but three times. Were you more than a friend to Carlos Saúl Menem?"

Luisa didn't hesitate: "The only man I ever loved was Porcel. He earned a lot." Albinoni also recalled how Porcel and Olmedo helped her mother when she was seriously ill: "They brought special guides from the United States. They saved her life. A name and also a great love," Carmen Barbieri threw in, as analyzed by the Argentine News Agency in Desayuno Americano.

Albinoni responded to that: "Our dates didn't match, but yes, it's true. Her name is Carmen Luz and my name is Luisa Carmen. Perfect for him so he wouldn't make a mistake." The juiciest anecdote came when both women, from a distance, remembered the time Porcel took Albinoni to see Barbieri at the theater: "One time he takes me to the theater to see her and we go to her dressing room."

"At that moment I felt I could charge for a steak, or something weird was going to happen. I fell in love with his intellect, he was very cultured, sang well and fascinated me." Regarding Porcel's economy, she dropped an unexpected gem: "Once he told me he blamed himself for buying a Mercedes-Benz." Likewise, she assured he handled enormous amounts of cash: "He threw money in the built-in closets. That job does me good too."

"I was like, 'okay, I'll go with him as an assistant,'" she said with a laugh. Carmen confirmed they did not know each other and discovered everything "recently", on stage. "Our dates didn't match." Today, far from the political maelstrom, Albinoni is dedicated to a project she is proud of: "I'm working with the Malvinas Argentinas municipality, giving theater classes to seniors. People say 'how with that fat guy,' but it had nothing to do with aesthetics, he was an exceptional being."

Later, Albinoni spoke frankly about her relationship with the lead comedian: "I came after Carmen, we lived together for six years. There were no QR codes or transfers. It was all cash. I told him no. That's why I didn't work during his entire presidency." She clarified that the relationship was always respectful and that she met the presidential family "when he was with his wife and children."

Albinoni revealed that Menem wanted to involve her in politics more than once: "He always wanted to get me into politics. It never hooked me. We have a lot in common. No, nobody believes me," although, later she gave details she had never told: "He offered me something political. Why not? With Menem, no."
