Leaders of Argentina's General Confederation of Labor (CGT) met with Peronist deputies to forge a unified position on the government's labor reform project.

Buenos Aires, November 18, 2025 (NA) - Members of the CGT triumvirate, Jorge Sola, Octavio Arguello, and Cristian Jerónimo, met today with Peronist deputies of union extraction at the historic Azopardo headquarters. This was confirmed by Noticias Argentinas agency from union sources.

The meeting had been convened yesterday by the CGT leaders to debate and unify positions regarding the labor reform project promoted by the government, the text of which is still unknown.

Attending the CGT headquarters were deputies Sergio Palazzo, Hugo Yasky, Mario Manrique, and Vanesa Siley, as well as the elected deputy Hugo Moyano (Jr.).

"We want labor changes so that people who work can live better than in the present, not worse than a century ago," Yasky stated on his social networks prior to the meeting.
