Buenos Aires, November 17 (NA) — One suspect was killed and three others were detained following a pursuit that ended with a crash and shootout in the Buenos Aires locality of Villa Celina. The operation began in the City of Buenos Aires after an alert was issued via the Anillo Digital system for a Toyota Etios car with an active arrest warrant for robbery. According to information provided to the Noticias Argentinas agency, authorities detected the vehicle and attempted to stop it. When officers approached the car, the occupants fled, leading to a chase that ended on Bustamante and Ugarte street. There, a shootout took place, resulting in one suspect's death and the arrest of three others. It was also reported that the shootout occurred moments after a city police patrol car collided with the suspect's vehicle, causing it to overturn. No police officers were injured in the incident. The case is being handled by prosecutor Adrián Arribas.
