Wanted criminal captured in Buenos Aires

A Peruvian national known as "Chatrán" has been captured during a raid in the 1-11-14 neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The 40-year-old man was being investigated for attempted homicide and was also wanted by the Justice of the Province of Buenos Aires for armed robbery. During the arrest, officers seized his mobile phone, and a title, ID, a form, and keys to a Volkswagen Gol car, as requested by the magistrate, as they "would be related to what happened on the day of the incident". In addition to the case leading to his arrest, there was a request for a warrant for his arrest for rebellion from the Oral Tribunal 4 of the Lomas de Zamora Judicial Department, for the crime of aggravated robbery in a populated area and as a gang. "Chatrán" is accused of having shot a man of the same age in February of this year on one of the margins of the neighborhood. By order of the judiciary, "Chatrán" was placed incommunicado. Although the wanted man had supposedly changed his address to evade capture, officers from the local security force's Homicide Division managed to capture him during a raid on his new residence. According to information from the Argentine News Agency, the procedure was ordered by the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 23, presided over by Dr. Osvaldo Daniel Rappa, with Secretariat 158 of Dr. Cecilia Fernanda Toso. On the last February 26, following a 911 call, officers from the Peace Tactical Unit (DUTP) of that neighborhood found Darío Lionel Pereyra lying on the ground. He was taken to the Piñero hospital, where it was reported that he had a wound in the intestinal area with entry and exit holes.
