Buenos Aires, November 14 (NA) -- President Javier Milei is considering a new trip to the United States before the end of the year to advance the signing of a trade agreement with the Donald Trump administration. Official sources informed Noticias Argentinas agency, a day after the trade and strategic agreement with the United States was announced. The possible trip would add to the negotiations that technical teams from both countries have been conducting in recent weeks to finalize the central points of the understanding, which includes tariffs, greater bilateral trade flow, and chapters related to agricultural, industrial, and service sectors. In the Casa Rosada (the presidential palace), it is indicated that the Executive's intention is to close the agreement in 2025, which is why Milei considers it important to personally participate in the signing, in line with the strategy of deepening alignment with Washington. According to diplomatic sources, the agreement does not modify the commitments of Mercosur, but it approaches a scheme of greater openness and commercial cooperation. If materialized, it would be Milei's fifteenth trip to the United States, where he was last week for an event in Miami.
