A Paraguayan national was arrested near the Riestra stadium on charges of aggravated sexual abuse of a minor. The City Police managed to detain the 34-year-old man through the 'Tribuna Segura' program and its database of fugitive criminals with outstanding arrest warrants. The incident took place before the match between Riestra and Independiente, which began at 19:00 and ended in a 1-0 victory for 'Rojo'. Shortly before the start of the match between Riestra and Independiente, for matchday 15 of the 2025 Closing Tournament, the Buenos Aires police arrested a man accused of sexual abuse.

The man, a 34-year-old Paraguayan, was about to enter the aforementioned Guillermo Laza stadium when a DNI scan flagged him as accused of abusing a minor. His identity was verified to confirm the validity of the arrest warrant, which had been requested by the Oral and Correctional Criminal Court No. 2, and the 'Malevo' fan was detained in the Villa Soldati neighborhood. This marked another success for the 'Tribuna Segura' program, which has already led to the capture of 46 fugitives so far in 2025. Among these arrests, which occurred during a total of 300 matches, individuals accused of serious crimes have been deprived of their liberty, including homicides, sexual abuse, drug trafficking, and robberies, among others.
