Former Interior Minister Lisandro Catalana stated that 'no one' can 'condition' President Javier Milei in the choice of his collaborators and denied being upset about his departure from the national cabinet. He expressed this to the press accredited at his arrival at the Casa Rosada to say goodbye to his team and meet with his replacement, Diego Santilli, to begin the transition in the position. 'Furthermore, the responsibility and competence of choosing the President's collaborators is the President's,' he said. 'I came to meet with Santilli to also get up to speed on how the Ministry is left, pending issues, and, obviously, to help in this stage that he has to continue,' he said. Asked about his relationship with Milei, Catalana denied leaving upset: 'Not at all.'
