The State Asset Administration Agency (AABE) officially reassigned a state-owned property to the National University of Mothers of Plaza de Mayo this Tuesday. The measure, published in the Official Gazette through Resolution 67/2025, grants the first floor of the building located at Tinogasta Street Nº 5.268/70, in Comuna 11 of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, to the university for its use. The reassigned sector, which was under the jurisdiction of the Secretariat of Education of the Ministry of Human Capital, has an approximate area of 761.34 square meters. According to technical reports, the first floor is currently 'vacant and clean,' while the rest of the building is in the process of being vacated. The National University of Mothers of Plaza de Mayo had requested the space and specified that its purpose will be the 'storage and warehousing of furniture.' Additionally, the university's Maintenance, Production, and General Services Department and the Heritage Department will be established there. The Secretariat of Education, which had the property under its orbit, was notified and 'did not raise any objections' to the reassignment. The resolution also reveals that the University has already filed a request for a 'second stage,' requesting the totality of the property. Should the Government approve this expansion, the educational institution committed to making another property previously granted to it, located at Avenida Rivadavia Nº 4.615, available to the AABE.
