**Buenos Aires Police Operation for the 2025 Elections**

In the coming days, the Buenos Aires Police will deploy specialized units to conduct security operations during the electoral process, ensuring the integrity of the process, linked to the process of the presidential ballot with the participation of the La Libertad Avanza coalition. The operation, coordinated with the Buenos Aires Provincial Police and the Federal Police, will focus on the transport of ballot papers, the custody of ballot boxes, and the transfer and protection of 7276 urns for the vote, which will be distributed in 1118 polling stations.

The central operation will involve the participation of the Buenos Aires Provincial Police, who will be responsible for the internal security of the polling stations. Around 72 motorcycle officers from the Buenos Aires Provincial Police's Motorized Division will escort trucks carrying ballot boxes from the printing press to the material collection centers, and with the deployment of security forces, the security for the transport will be reinforced up to 8300 officials. The average number of police officers per polling station is 1100, which will be sufficient to guarantee security during the vote.

**Security Measures** The main electoral council will be designated as the final ballot center, with security measures being particularly strict. The executive branch will conduct perimeter fencing in the electoral districts on election day to ensure the smooth transit of mail vehicles. Additionally, preventive security forces will be deployed outside the National Electoral Court at Leandro N. Alem 232. Furthermore, external security monitoring and traffic control will also be implemented at the data processing centers in Brandsen and Feijoo streets.

**Role of Forces** The aforementioned forces will be responsible for the internal security of the polling stations, as the operation requires the presence of police officers. The main function of the police forces will be to regulate traffic: police departments will regulate traffic on voting day, and the gendarmerie will be responsible for escorting the transport of ballot boxes.

**Working Hours** The work of the polling station staff will extend from 6 a.m. until the closing of the polls. After the official closing time, the ballot boxes will be collected and sent to the respective counting centers.
