The national deputy and candidate for city legislator of the PRO, Silvia Lospennato, expressed her disappointment during a press conference after the Ficha Limpia project was rejected. In her statements, she pointed directly at President Javier Milei, telling him: 'I believed in you and you let me down.' Lospennato also criticized the head of the La Libertad Avanza (LLA) bloc, Ezequiel Atauche, and the missionary senators, Sonia Rojas Decut and Carlos Arce of the Frente Renovador de La Concordia Social, who changed their votes 'at the last moment.'
After asking for explanations and apologies from the promoters of the Ficha Limpia project, such as journalist Fanny Mandelbaum and university professor Gastón Marra, Silvia Lospennato reiterated her anger towards the National Government and stated: 'Bring your army of trolls if you want, because the truth always triumphs.' For her part, Laura Alonso, spokesperson for the Government of Buenos Aires and a member of Lospennato's list for candidate legislator, criticized the statement issued by LLA that considered it 'a sad day' for the country after the fall of Ficha Limpia, calling it 'a lie.'
Alonso pointed out that senators Rojas Decut and Arce, by changing their vote at the last moment, demonstrated to be 'almost officialists' for voting in favor of LLA on everything, despite having publicly declared their support for Ficha Limpia. Deputy Lospennato concluded by saying that this is a sign that something unusual occurred behind the scenes, deeming the situation as 'a very high betrayal.' She affirmed that the corrupt and their defenders celebrated the rejection of the project and expressed her disappointment with President Milei, losing all the trust she had in him.
