
The candidate for city legislator HernĂ¡n Lombardi defended in a recent interview the measures that the city administration is promoting to address the social and economic crisis affecting the country. He highlighted that the City of Buenos Aires has exempted vulnerable sectors such as retirees and workers from certain taxes, and committed to continue working to ease the tax burden on those who need it most.
Lombardi also referred to the national economic direction and the sacrifices it entails, but assured that the government is keeping its promises. Regarding the criticism of urban hygiene in the city, the former minister acknowledged that there are challenges, but pointed out that work continues on projects, lowering taxes and cutting political expenses in an effort to improve the quality of life for Buenos Aires residents.
In the midst of tension between PRO and La Libertad Avanza, Lombardi stated that his space is proud of the transformation that the City of Buenos Aires has undergone and reiterated his commitment to defend the interests of Buenos Aires residents against any attempts to dispute local power.
Regarding President Javier Milei's involvement in the electoral campaign, Lombardi emphasized that the City of Buenos Aires does not belong to anyone and that they will continue working for the well-being of its inhabitants. He concluded his interview with a message of optimism and confidence in the PRO project for the future of the city.
The leader also responded to the criticisms from presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni, comparing PRO to an old telephone and La Libertad Avanza to a modern one. Lombardi defended PRO's management in the City and the work done by his team, stating that they will continue transforming the city for the better and that they are confident in winning the elections in the upcoming votes.
