Political Alliances Strengthen Ahead of Elections

President Javier Milei met at the Casa Rosada with Cristian Ritondo and Diego Santilli, two prominent leaders of the PRO in the Province of Buenos Aires. The aim of this meeting was to consolidate a strategic alliance ahead of the mid-term elections in the most important district of the country.

During the meeting, negotiations between La Libertad Avanza (LLA) and PRO were accelerated, seeking to unify forces to compete in the province with the highest electoral weight. According to sources close to the president, this alliance has been worked on by presidential advisor Santiago Caputo and aims to replicate the harmony observed in the National Congress.

Cristian Ritondo, upon leaving the meeting, expressed the importance of defeating populism in the province of Buenos Aires. Meanwhile, from the circle of Sebastián Pareja of LLA, it was established as a condition for the alliance the subordination to the municipal coordinators of that party.

In a political context marked by tensions, the alliance between LLA and PRO seeks to consolidate itself as an alternative to the provincial government led by Axel Kicillof. Despite uncertainties regarding the electoral scenario, the goal is to strengthen opposition presence in Congress and advance the common objective of "eradicating populism" in the province.

Regarding candidacies, it is expected that José Luis Espert will head the list in the Province, possibly followed by Diego Santilli. The intention of this alliance is to bring together proposals and work together to offer a better future to the people of Buenos Aires.
