March in Buenos Aires for Justice and Memory

This Sunday, members of the Human Rights Coordinator of Football gathered in Plaza de Mayo to prepare activities in commemoration of March 24 and express their demand for justice, as well as their wish for the swift recovery of photojournalist Pablo Grillo, who was severely injured during the repression last Wednesday at a protest by retirees in Congress.

Grillo suffered the impact of a metal gas cartridge that caused him to lose brain mass. At the gathering in Plaza de Mayo, banners were displayed demanding justice for those who disappeared during the last Argentine dictatorship. During the march, the chant "Olé olé, olé olá, just like the Nazis are going to pay, wherever they go, we will go to look for them" was heard.

Prior to the protest, the Human Rights Coordinator of Football issued a joint statement with the Fans Coordinator and the Borderless Feminist Football Coordinator, denouncing acts of repression and threats from the government of Javier Milei and demanding the resignation of Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich.

Under the slogan "Memory, Truth, and Justice; 30,000 are missing in the stands", an Argentine flag was displayed accompanied by various club jerseys from the country. Participants also used the hashtags #FuerzaPabloGrillo and #FueraBullrich, referring to the Minister of National Security, Patricia Bullrich.
