Elisa Carrió Announces Her Candidacy in Buenos Aires

The leader of the Civic Coalition, Elisa "Lilita" Carrió, announced that she will be a candidate for deputy for the Province of Buenos Aires and criticized Javier Milei and his sister Karina, whom she labeled as "marginals". In an interview with Joaquín Morales Solá on La Nación +, Carrió pointed out that, according to her, "The only agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that she would support would be one that is not used to stabilize the dollar."

Regarding the allegations, Carrió expressed that it is a matter of having patience. Furthermore, she stated that the cashier would be Karina Milei, indicating that Karina would be linked to the funds that are being moved. The politician mentioned that she has seen acts of corruption and considers the Mileis as marginal, suggesting that this would be a pyramid scheme.

Carrió also expressed her opinion on the decree appointing Ariel Lijo and Manuel García-Mansilla as Supreme Court judges, labeling it as unconstitutional. On the other hand, she supported the agreement of Alberto Fernández's Government with the IMF, stating that it is a duty to support said agreement. The leader of the Civic Coalition assured that she has numerous testimonies that would support her position.
