President Javier Milei will be the central figure of an atypical Legislative Assembly, which will be enthusiastically received by his supporters, despite the absence of the opposition in a clear act of rebellion. In the hours leading up to the opening of the ordinary sessions, the Senate protocol extended invitations to various sectors, including governors, legislators, Supreme Court members, ministers, ambassadors, and authorities from the Security Forces, as well as representatives of different faiths.

In front of the podium where the president will speak, the entire Cabinet will be arranged on a special tray, while the provincial leaders will occupy the opposite side. According to the leader of the bench, José Mayans, this decision responds to the mistreatment by the president and the lies they have perceived. The Chamber of Deputies has also decided not to participate, arguing that Milei's 'crypto-scam,' referring to the controversy surrounding the promotion of $LIBRA, as well as the appointments to the Supreme Court and lack of budget, are unacceptable limitations.

The PRO bloc will be present with Cristian Ritondo and prominent figures such as María Eugenia Vidal and Fernando Iglesias, while former presidents like Mauricio Macri have decided not to attend, marking their absence on this historic date. The Executive aims to compensate for the empty seats with the presence of libertarian activists on the balconies of the chamber, who will be in charge of applauding and cheering the president during his speech.

Milei's recent criticism of the governor of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, who was not invited, served as justification for the absence of several Peronist governors, including Sergio Ziliotto (La Pampa), Gustavo Melella (Tierra del Fuego), Ricardo Quintela (La Rioja), and Gildo Insfrán (Formosa). Among the allies, figures such as Maxmiliano Pullaro (Santa Fe), Osvaldo Jaldo (Tucumán), Claudio Poggi (San Luis), and Martín Llaryora (Córdoba) confirmed their attendance.

On the other hand, Rogelio Frigerio (Entre Ríos), Marcelo Orrego (San Juan), Carlos Sadir (Jujuy), and Alfredo Cornejo (Mendoza) declined the invitation due to a scheduled trip to Canada in search of investments. Hugo Passalacqua (Misiones) will not be able to attend due to his recovery after an intervention.

From the Casa Rosada, they are aware that the absences will result in a hall filled with empty spaces, following the decision of the Peronist senators' bloc not to attend, which represents a clear discontent with the libertarian management. This image will reflect, for the first time in decades, a notably empty chamber, a result of the intense confrontation between the ruling party and the more radical opposition.
